South Jordan
South Jordan is a thriving city that is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. A 3.5 mile stretch of the Jordan River flows through the city and contains fishing ponds, trails, parks and natural habitats. The Jordan River Parkway runs through this area which is a great amenity for the residents. South Jordan is growing fast. The entire west side of the city is home to the master planned Daybreak Community which could double South Jordan’s size with its massive 4000+ acres. South Jordan is the first city in the world with two Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints Temples.
Housing varies widely from large homes on large lots (above .25 acre), mixed with townhomes, homes from the 70’s to a large quantity of new construction. Pricing in the mid $200’s for a larger than average home. Commute time to down town Salt Lake City will be 25-35 minutes, and a TRAX rail line has just been added to take residents to down town.
