Murray
The City of Murray is named for territorial governor Eli Murray, and is the 14th largest city in Utah. Murray is a centrally located city in Salt Lake County and has been called “The Hub of Salt Lake County”. Murray is unlike most of its neighboring communities as it operates its own police, fire, power, water, library, parks, recreation department, and has its own school district. While maintaining many of its own services, Murray has one of the lowest city taxes in the state. Murray is home to the Intermountain Medical Center, a huge medical campus that is also Murray’s largest employer.
Murray offers convenient access to all amenities and transit systems. Commute to down town Salt Lake is about 15 minutes. There is a large mix of housing opportunities in Murray.
